Meeting the PI Patient Electronic Access Objective

You’re invited to join CHITREC’s Sam Ross for a webinar on meeting the Promoting Interoperability (PI) objective on patient electronic access. Beginning in 2019, Medicaid PI participants must meet updated Stage 3 objectives and measures. As part of these new requirements, Objective 5 calls for patients 1) to receive timely electronic access to their health information and 2) to receive patient-specific education. Although both measures applied under Stage 2, some important changes have been introduced. Attendees will learn:

• Updated compliance thresholds
• The significance of the Application Programming Interface (API)
• Strategies for increasing patient access to health information
