Completing a Promoting Interoperability Audit

Providers receiving Promoting Interoperability Program incentive payments from Illinois Medicaid can be audited by the Office of the Inspector General for up to six years after attestation. With audits continuing on a rolling basis through 2023, the best way to protect yourself is to take action before they happen. Whether you attested for 2021 or want to mitigate risk for past attestations, it’s not too late to upload comprehensive documentation directly into the eMIPP application.
